Katy, the
Trips with Angie travel concierge, is sharing her ideal days at Disney
World. This is a five part series. Today, we learn about her ideal day at Magic Kingdom. Be sure to also read about Arrival Day and Epcot.
We try to arrive in time to the park to see the Opening Show, Let
the Magic Begin. We make sure to get our photo with Cinderella’s Castle in
the background. It’s hard to get my kids to head straight for the rides when
the ropes drop. They see the characters out and my daughter in particular wants
to get in line to meet them. We end up waiting to meet a lot of the
characters over the course of the day. I love that the meeting spots of many of
the characters are so well themed for them. One of my favorites is Tinkerbell’s
meeting spot, you feel like you are in Neverland with her. The rides and
attractions we make sure to hit in addition to our Fast Passes below are:
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade
Enchanted Tales with Belle
Happily Ever After Nighttime Spectacular
Haunted Mansion
It’s a Small World
Mad Tea Party
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Tomorrowland Speedway
Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor
Swiss Family Treehouse
Tom Sawyer’s Island
Nighttime Fireworks
Our family’s ideal Fast Passes are:
Peter Pan’s Flight
Jungle Cruise
Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid (Mother/ Daughter)
Pirates of the Caribbean (Father/ Son)
Our ideal dining is:
Lunch at Be Our Guest, the atmosphere here is so fun, you will
feel like you are in the movie.
Dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table, the food is amazing and my
daughter loved meeting the princesses.
Our must have snack:
Dole Whip from Aloha Isle
